I bought a huge nice trashcan for the whole suite, figured other people were taking it out too bc I knew I wasn’t the only one. Turns out it was just me and my roommate. We decided to stop, even though it was my trashcan, and used the one in our room until someone else learned to take out the trash (to the trash room right across the hall)

The worst part is that even if you take out your own trash, there will still be a gross apartment because they’re slobs. Then the smell and bugs affect you too.

It got a little better as in they took it out eventually, but they still let it overflow before they did every time

I’d also like to add, I went home to my apartment with my partner every weekend. Fridays at about 2 I would take the trash out. By Sunday 8pm when I got back, it was overflowing.

I feel like Im gonna have to take the trash out either way, the part that is irritating is her blaming me and making me look like a slob, I hope the separate trash debunks that and opens her eyes

If you keep in the open she’s going to just put her trash into your bin so you take it out
