How to deal with a religious roommate that is very conservative, yet I am not? Ik i'm probably pushing my judgement on them due to my assumption of them judging me for how i live. Although I have overheard them talking about me for having no morals.

ignore them and live in ur space. if they don't respect u to a point where it affects how u live, then request to move rooms

I’ve had several and felt this way too they ended up being chill and generally kept to themselves and I told them as soon as we both moved in that I was really progressive and asked if they might have a problem with thar

yeah i think it's uncomfortable because we have different view points but i mean im going to experience that anywhere. i did tell them i am not a religious person so its a start, they kinda looked at me with pity in a sense

That sucks that they seemed to pity you about it, but as long as they aren’t harassing you or making you feel unsafe I think you’ll be okay!

Yeah I think you are right, i think past roommate situations have put me on edge of everyone. I always want people to befriend yet I'm aware with already hearing them talk badly about me that is not the case. Although does not mean they are awful roommates either just not friends
