My dorm building does this too. We’re all on a GroupMe set up by the RA and we mostly just ask if it’s okay to move laundry

most schools make the RAs create a groupme actually!! just for ease of communicating with the whole floor, however a lot of people don’t join 😓

Yeah even with my dorm chat I always found it a little weird that some people would reply “oh I’m in class you can move them” like classes are 50 minutes minimum and the washer is roughly 30? Then again my school thought one set of machines was enough for a building that houses a maximum of 24 students so 🤷‍♀️

At my school there were literally 5-6 machines for a buildings that had anywhere between 300-500 students 😭 so it’s not just you LMAO they all suck
