OP I totally feel you and your roommate is 100% in the wrong here…but did you remind him that it was in there? You shouldn’t have to bc he’s an adult who should be able to handle his own damn stuff but he might have fully forgotten and will move it if you ask, which has to be better than it continuing to sit there

I don’t know how well that’s gonna work. In my experience people willing to start a fight over someone touching a plate for two seconds aren’t usually ones to be reasonable when reminded that his food was left out.
