Fr tho why does my downstairs neighbor play their music so loud that it shakes the things on my walls. I have a white noise machine to help with falling asleep but they won’t stop playing it to 2-3 am in the morning. Like I have school and a job 💀

Yea I’ve tried ear plugs and I have a noise machine. It’s just so insanely loud with the base u can feel the vibrations on the floor. I just wish they were a little more considerate during the weekdays 🫠

That’s just part of having neighbors. Rent a house or buy earplugs if you can’t handle it.

So are quiet hours and noise complaints. There is such things as reasonable expectations and one of them is “don’t blast music past midnight”. It’s called empathy and being neighborly.

This isn’t true, most towns have noise ordinances, and it’s safe to assume that generally speaking, if OP were to call his neighbor for a noise complaint, that his neighbor would get told to be quieter. They don’t have to “get over it”.

I’m saying I doubt that their neighbor is breaking any noise ordinances. So unless there’s quiet hours in the lease then my point stands. Otherwise call the cops and take care of the issue or get ear plugs

Their music is so loud it’s shaking the walls, I think that breaks the noise ordinance. Yes OP should absolutely call the cops because ear plugs aren’t gonna cut it in this case.
