You are not “just a girl” or “just a baby”. You are a 20 year old woman who should have known to do housing on time and literally any basic skill

Right. The following included: cleaning, know how to use a thermostat, take care of you cat/dog, and the list goes on🫠

Honestly as an 18 year old girl I bet guilty as hell saying “I’m just a girl” but like over literally everything. Like if you ask what I’m doing I’ll be like “you know.. I’m just a girl” I use it as a way to be like just living life what’s it to you

I genuinely love the idea of the statement because it feels like a funny way to combat the “boys will be boys” stereotype. But when people use it genuinely, they’re stupid. I use it for fun yeah, and I won’t hide that. But it’s a joke playing on my own clumsiness/forgetfulness/silliness, not a genuine excuse

My roommate last semester kept asking me when she had to select classes, when she could pick her roommate/room all RIGHT BEFORE FINALS WEEK!!! I told her multiple times not to go off of me since we are going off of 2 different credit levels and class years.

No dude, I mean the people who use it as an excuse for not keeping up with actual responsibility. This same person said that their dog had been poisoned to get out of work and then said that they’re “just a girl”.

I mean, I don’t see why you care so much about her employment but go off ig

The reason I care is she used me as a job reference as we used to work together but suddenly she just has this horrible work ethic after starting the new job. This makes me look bad because the place where she’s working has ties to places where I’m supposed to be at in the future. She also complains to me about not having money and tries to force her Aunt to pay for her dates because she couldn’t keep her job.

The ways in which this will affect you sound like such a reach. Employers don’t ask around their industry to see what recommendations you’ve given for other people in other organizations. No shame in being a hater and overly invested in other’s business, as long as you own it!

No, these companies are intertwined. I was already questioned upon her being fired as to why I would ever recommend her. Sorry to you that that seems like a reach, but this is my reality.

Also if you gave her a recommendation but have so many issues w her work ethic, then shouldn’t you look bad for giving a dishonest recommendation?

As I was trying to explain her work ethic tank after she started at this job. After my recommendation. When I worked with her, she was completely fine.

REAL! The person I talked about called me to ask questions about the schedule to a place I haven’t worked at for TWO YEARS
