My roommate has me out here acting like her fucking mom. WE ARE ROOMMATES!! I should not be the only person cleaning the kitchen, unloading the dishwasher, buying groceries and appliances. Like what the fuck? I’m so ready to live alone!

No yeah fuck that dude start only washing dishes you need and buy groceries for yourself until you can live alone because that’s ridiculous that your roommate is making you pay for everything thing and making you clean up after them 😐

Same thing happened to me and my partner. Our roommate would leave food open in her room for WEEKS. Then asked why we had bugs in the place. Some people just aren’t meant to be roommates

Had a girlfriend like this except it was her apartment and me living on a part time job income driving 1.5hr every other day and would be blamed for literally anything that’d go wrong

If she doesn’t wash her dishes even after you tell her, get all of her dishes and put them in her room Keep doing that into her behavior changes This is what we call human training, so we can get a behavior we want

girl i just moved out of the EXACT same situation. it got to the point to where i refused to touch the trash can because she would NEVER take it out. i also had to move my appliances to my room because she would use them without cleaning them. i promise it gets better queen just keep your head up!!!💕

wash only the dishes you use and keep them in your room, keep any food that doesn’t need to be in the fridge in your room too (or find a minifridge for cheap on fb marketplace). teach her she actually has to take care of herself ♥️

i (very very nicely) tried to teach my roommate how to use the dishwasher. and she got mad at me bcuz she thought i was setting her up for her dishes to not be as clean as hand washed. i should have beat her ass when i had the chance im ngl

Told me to get rid of the chore chart bc I’m not her mom and I don’t need to keep track of her. I got rid of it. She never cleaned again

I clean my room when my roommate cleans the rest of the place because she knows I'm messy and she loads the dishwasher because she likes it done a certain way and I unload it. She knows it's my first time living alone and my parents did everything for me like laundry and stuff. The first time I did laundry by myself I had to ask my mom.

Talk about it with them in a kind but stern way. Sometimes people just come from different background and have different energy levels and clean levels (gross I know)

Had an abusive ex that sounds similar. Hell I drove 3 hrs bc she refused to get a license. Textbook crazy

I also want to point out that this is not cruel in anyway. (This example I’m giving at least) it is her property, and you are just putting it back in her room

Fr that’s why exactly what they should do 😭because there should be no reason you have to clean up their mess.
