I’m assuming that whoever got her out of the dorms during/after the episode had to get into the dorm too, so why didn’t they let you in?

it was on a friday night too and my RA didn’t respond to my messages until monday. and so my roommate locked me out, had a mental crisis, and i didn’t get back into the room until monday when my RA let me back in lol. it’s hard out here. it’s been peaceful without her though

he’s doing much better! he went into surgery that night and my aunt picked me up and drove me to the hospital in our hometown which is about a two hour drive. unfortunately heart issues run in the family. thank you for asking though!!!

evil freshman school dorm when your school has 60k students and the RA’s are overworked and underpaid. seriously no shade to my RA, his job seems miserable and he was taking a much needed break, just unfortunate timing

Ok makes sense. Sorry about your experience. VT be treating their RAs better, and have a more organized schedule for RAs to be on call every day.

i think anyone in this situation would have the right to call the authorities, but i knew that it would keep me there longer when i just needed to get home to be with my father, and campus security was handling the situation, just due to how loud she was. and even though i really did hate her, i didn’t want her to deal with any legal issues
