You don’t need any reason to move but this is a good one. Talk to the RA and they’ll help you.

is it ever does get to a point where someone is caught having mj in your room, you could always tell them to drug test atleast you to prove you dont use mj

I’d still consider moving out, or at the very least having a serious conversation with your roommate about how he cannot just leave his mj out in the open, especially on your stuff.
