How are you going to be mad that I took you on a medium intensity hike that you wanted to go on that’s less than a mile long bc it’s not “paved like the ones at home”. It’s the Appalachian, you live on the coast. Sorry you’re fat but don’t blame me

Before y’all come at me, I was overweight for years and I’m still no skinny Minnie but I did this hike at my heaviest and they asked me to take them on it. We had to stop every few feet and I wasn’t allowed to talk while we were walking bc they were upset. They were also mad there were no porta potty’s. It was a 15 minute drive there please get your bladder checked you shouldn’t be going 4 times an hour

As someone who’s done trails at the coast as well as Appalachia: most of the coastal ones aren’t paved either, it’s just flat down there. I’ll admit mountain inclines can take you out super fast if you’re not used to it, but it shouldn’t be knocking anyone out that fast unless she’s not use to going on hikes in general. I also don’t know many trails anywhere that have bathrooms beyond the visitor center so I have no idea where the portapotty thing came from

The paths paved down there are either city park trails and marshes (although those are boardwalks). I’m leaning towards her being used to walking in city parks because it also explains the bathroom complaint, though the needing to pee that quickly is concerning.

I used to live on the coast with her, but like I’m assuming she meant flat with gravel. I didn’t even think about it but the one trail near our house is like that.

I mean it’s kinda on her for thinking a mountain would be flat but gravel I can get. Unfortunately for her it’s cheaper and more environmentally friendly to keep the trails dirt.

Ikr, the thing that gets me is, she literally used to have a house in the mountains around the same area. Did she just never go on a hike?

I’m starting to suspect she did this on purpose cause what do you mean she acted like this was news to her when she used to live in the area? She might be playing you I just don’t know for what.

No, didn’t use to live in the area. Would go there for vacation.

But they owned the house

Still she knows the area. Either way I think she realized she was cut out for mountain hikes and is trying to blame the trail for it.
