My roommate is PAINFULLY neurodivergent and refuses to get diagnosed. This wouldn’t be an issue except for the fact that she’s an absolute SLOB and has not ONCE cleaned out shared spaces and doesn’t understand when I’m hinting to her to do things.

i'm pretty neurodivergent and our minds can be SO busy we just don't even have the time to naturally consider those things so you should just bring them up to her stop hinting plus that causes a lot of tensions, make a chores list

If ur neurodivergent then you’d understand that you have to communicate directly what you want. I don’t understand why ppl don’t just say what they feel and then get mad that it doesn’t happen. Like this sounds super frustrating and it sucks that it’s not common courtesy and she’s not cleaning up but it also pisses me off so much when people r passive aggressive like this

This is coming from someone who is also neurodivergent but is 1) not as severe as her and 2) is receiving treatment for it

I’m not being passive aggressive with my roommate, just not communicating? And I know that I need to do that, but I just wanted to rant here, not look for solutions? This is called roommate RANTS not roommate SOLUTIONS.

It’s called roommate rants. It’s for ranting. Read what I wrote again. That’s why I’m not looking for solutions.
