I’m at a religious college where boys can’t enter the girl’s dorms at all and vice versa. Most of us wish we could have them in the common rooms for movie nights more than once a semester.

when I was in a double dorm me and my roommate had a no people rule lol it was really nice actually never having to worry about someone else in your space, keeping you up late, or anything else now that I'm in an apartment idc bc we all have our own rooms but if I'm ever in a double again I'd have that rule still

Oh yeah don’t get me wrong the segregation is great because I don’t have to deal with inconsiderate couples most of the time we just want them in the common rooms so we can watch movies with the whole friend group that doesn’t involve hunting down an unlocked academic building so we can use a classroom projector.
