This isn’t victim blaming, a lot of people just complain on here and don’t actually try to come to a workable arrangement w their roommate. I’m all for a vent, but a vent with no intent to have resolution is just bitching

I did, I’m the person who said their roommate basically poisoned their dog. Told her to not give him human food, proceeded to feed him takis until he threw up. I came back to vomit everywhere, plus side is he got it on her bed. I also talked to her about keeping up basic chores and went to the RA

Right it’s so annoying when I see posts complaining abt an unusual but not crazy thing that their roommate does but just say that they “know” how they would respond so they don’t communicate

Yup. It was in his vomit. She denied it but I never found indication he got in the trash (has locking lid and he is to short anyway) or found a bag lying around as there was no trash. So either she fed them to him or she left a bag out, cleaned up the trash, and never did anything about him eating them. She didn’t do anything about the vomit, she was home. I do not eat takis but I find bags in the couch regularly. She 100% knew, and based on habits I think she straight up fed them to him

I understand that one, that’s so annoying. It’s like you can talk to them, you have a choice. Some of us have actually tried to better the situation and get nothing :(

Thissss. I would have loved if my roommate had actually talked to me - something we talked abt before she moved in- and she only ever said jack shit
