… decide Thursday evening to finally ask me to watch her cat. She kind of made me feel like I had to by telling me that literally no one else could, but I’m kind of annoyed because it’s like why could you not tell me before Thursday? And also I have shift. So now I have to wake up even earlier to get to her place to give them food and then also stay out later to do the same. she also lives in the other direction.

Yea next time I would just mind MY own business and commit to my original plans then tell her that if she does leave her pet that I will not be doing anything with it because I have responsibilities that make me unable to and if she DID leave it alone then it will remain that way until she gets back. Boundaries are so important! Remember you are not a doormat

I know it was up to me to say yes or no, but she kinda made me feel like I had to by kind of complaining that literally no one else could do it, and it’s also like she could’ve 100% brought the cat home with her because she’s just going home this weekend to celebrate her birthday. I just need to vent this bit of frustration.
