posting for a friend; tldr, she put her roommates’ sandy musty laundry on the floor and they got upset 🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻 I’m Morgan in this situation. Tiana: Dear Morgan, do not put clean clothes on the floor— that’s rude as fuck. (1/?)

idk but it sounds like the washing machine needs cleaned if it’s smelling musty. like taken apart and cleaned because detergent buildups and grows bacteria. there’s also washing machine cleaning tablets

Tiana: Also it’s super easy to simply ask someone to take their clothes out. You are here 24/7– there’s no reason you need to was your clothes right that second. Morgan: Okay, so those clothes are dirty and musty asf and had the whole washing machine smelling like mildew. There’s also sand in the washing machine and I had to wash my clothes twice because of the sand and mildew smell. (2/?)

Do not put your roommates wet clothes on the floor. That’s fucking rude. What’s not rude is putting them in the dryer. I do not give a fuck if that’s “not your job” you can either put the in the dryer or somewhere else, it takes the same effort; the only question is are you an asshole or not. Period

Renee: You still could’ve just asked who they belonged to, ma’am, and said something about the sand prior to doing that. Tiana: So what I said was to ask someone to take their clothes out and not move them yourself— see how that’s not a response to what I just said. I’m not gonna talk about this again tbh. If I find that you moved my clothes again we will have an issue. That’s the last I’m gonna say about it because I’m tired of finding that you’ve moved my clothes. Thanks in advance for (3/?)

your cooperation. Morgan: Don’t leave clothes in the washing machine and dryer for days. This would not have happened if there wasn’t clothes left in the washing machine and dryer for days. And I’m letting you know now that I will move your stuff if anyone leaves their things in the washer or dryer for days at a time. ALSO the clothes are on the floor because they are must and have sand, so I couldn’t put them on the couch. (4/?)

Morgan: I figured whoever’s clothes they were would have to rewash them anyway because of that. AND ALSO no one was here to move the clothes regardless. Tiana: Gotcha. Feel free to do whatever you like and I will do whatever I like as well. Don’t get upset— I’m telling you in advance: if you do anything I don’t like, I will handle it and I won’t tell you in advance. You will just come home to the result. Because while this may have irritated you, I asked for something super simple, (5/?)

Tiana: and you irritate me all the time and I never do anything about it because it’s disrespectful. But if we are throwing common decency out the window, I will adjust accordingly. Renee: Thanks for the PSA but let’s not act brand new. If it was that serious, a simple text would’ve done the job— not a manifesto. This shouldn’t even be an argument fr; just a simple “hey I’m moving the clothes” would suffice. (6/?)

Morgan: It’s not that serious, but I’m currently being called rude and disrespectful and now I’m being threatened??? Renee: The popping off in these messages also needs to stop because it’s not that deep. (7/8)

at some point, Morgan went to talk to Tiana and when they finished talking, Tiana slammed the door in her face; this message is from after that 🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻 Tiana: Hello Renee Morgan didn’t feel like texting anymore I talked to her and she’s gonna ask and not touch them (8/8)

the smell came from the clothes her roommates left in the washer but that’s a good idea! i’ll let her know so it doesn’t stink up her clothes again 🫶🏼

See they did put it somewhere else. The floor. Dirty clothes go on the floor not in the dryer. Other people have shit to do and need things washed and ops roomate is so entitled and lazy that they can’t do their own laundry. Ridiculous.
