I learned a new thing the other day, it’s called unconscious competence, and I think in your case your roommate does not have it. It basically means that things like cleaning are second nature to you, like when you walk into a room and it’s dirty your going to clean or if you see dishes in the sink you’ll wash them because you know that’s what needs to happen, and some people just don’t have that apparently 🙏🏻

Dude I remember deep cleaning our living room once. I opened shades for sunlight, vacuumed, dusted everything, wipes windows and sills, the works. They came home, and 3 complimented me, the 4th asked why it smelled like that. I said it was disinfectant that I used on the table and light switches and door handle, she made a face and asked why I would use that

OMG I love you both for this it drives me INSANE!! I clean the whole apartment every other week, clean up after their messes in the kitchen, fix loose screws, change lightbulbs, empty their dryer or dishwasher loads that’ve been sitting..not saying I need a thank you but pitch in somewhere! Anywhere! And if I move their stuff they ask why I touched it 💀

OMG THANK YOU! my roommate last semester was so freaking annoying and started putting a bunch of her stuff everywhere in our living room/common area like it was her 2nd bedroom. fuck that bitch
