Ok but how do I explain to my roomate his girlfriend can’t stay over every night and just walk in the apartment without knocking or saying hi. Cause like it’s concerning that they don’t realize it’s not okay

tell him exactly that. say you’re not comfortable with her staying there everyday and with guests just walking in the house without telling you

Okay but like how abt he doesn’t tell you he’s there and u just walk in and see her there. Bc that’s what my roomate does with her bf. He’s just there, like fucking 4 days a week and I’m so sick of it

Yes however my worry is that this is basic human decency and the fact it has to be explained makes me feel it’s gonna escalate

you would think people would have common sense but they dont. it may escalate and it may not but at the end of the day you deserve to be heard and respected in your own home. unfortunately that entails having to tell them what you feel
