Roommates are crazy. You preach communication but the moment I’m being a bit too loud, instead of asking me to be quieter you slam your door out of anger…. Make it make sense🤷🏾‍♀️

OP I don’t know why everyone has such a problem with this. I think your take is based - communication is key! The haters here are probably just ego hurt because they’ve made a habit out of passively aggressively slamming doors tbh

If you think I need to grow up bc I require communication and patience like a normal person, I think you’re the one here who needs to be doing some growing. 🫢 It’s ok son. You’ll get there one day, maybe.😂

if you need someone to tell you you’re being to loud then yeah you need to grow up. we’re in college babe. you need to be quiet and mindful likeee😭

we are also in college where people may want to have fun and have people over. now if the roommate has asked for a night of quiet and they continued to be loud then yeah that's shitty. but expecting college students to be quiet all the time and then being upset when they aren't but not saying it upset you is not great communication

the moment when your roommate uses noise canceling headphones, turns away and faces the wall, plays guitar at the worst hours of the day, and doesn’t clean up his mess even when you write notes to them…
