How many roommates did you have? This is at least 3 ppl vs 1. So obv the electric bill will be significantly lower. Mine is $20-$25 so idk girl

I was in the same situation like this before. She always had everything going and left on 24/7 heaters were blasting as well. The bill was around 300 to 450. I moved out used one heater and my bill was only 15-70 being the highest. The funny part that’s just electric we had water paid by our building.

So real!! I was in a small two bedroom apartment and our bill would be $400 a month, once it got to $520. I moved out now I average $46 by myself

Are you sure your new lease doesn’t have the landlord paying for some of it. Like mine is 30-40 a month but that’s because we don’t pay for heating and don’t have ac

$250/3 would be around $85 per person which is still way more than what i pay right now…not to mention it would be in the range of $350 when my roommate was out of a job for two months and stayed home all day 🙃

Literally where do you live because powering my entire house, four fridges, 5 TVs, and every other electric item is usually 80-120/mo

same! everything else was paid for by our landlord so it was just electricity! and she would always have her PC on or xbox streaming all day

we only paid for electricity at my old place as well as my new place, so it’s not a price difference. landlord pays everything else including water, wifi, gas and heat

Game consoles use very small amounts of power these days—same with TVs. My electric bill usually sits between $50-$80 and I tend to use my stuff a lot. I even have a gaming PC. They just don’t use a lot of power. What will always run your bill up is heating/cooling. In some ways, the PC and consoles would have actually LOWERED your bill in cold weather

Ahhh probably the heat. The 4 fridges might be a bit also but idk how much a mini fridge (I assume) uses
