one rm sent a group text to our rm about her cat stress meowing loud and how it's written in the lease that pets are not to disturb residents and it's to the point where we will wake up to the cat. instead of responding she's decided to move out at 11pm
idek but her cat sounds so stressed and scared all the time even when she's home so she's straight up ignoring the cat and we are wondering if she's neglecting it.

That’s straight up neglect then. You can’t leave a stressed out sad and upset animal alone. I’m glad she got outta there for y’all’s sake and her cat.

It’s not but you can have feelings for the animal that’s being neglected. If you think it’s truly awful for the cat then I’d call Animal Services about them. Ur ex roommate is not respecting their animal or the people they lived with.
