Anyone else with germaphobia LOVE their roommates but have to fight hard not to say anything to them when they do something “gross”? Here’s a list of things that bother me sm, but that I’d never speak up about because I know I’m the problem

Toilet lids don’t much help with keeping particles out of the bathroom but these are understandable lol

I get where you are coming from. I know you'll love to have your own place when you can afford it. I wonder if possibly storing these in a different area or something could ease your mind some (the towels). Or if you build a good connection with you roommate let her know like three easy suggestions they could do to help make you more comfortable. No you will never be at ease with any of it, BUT you will have some sound mind.

I would honestly talk to your roommate about this. Like they don’t have to change everything, but they can at least change the easy things like not setting stuff on your towel? It might not help, but speaking from experience communication is always better than getting annoyed and not telling the person.

Lowkey I just kinda wanna force myself through it like exposure therapy. I have to remind myself I’m around the public all day, and a few germs getting on me at my apartment isn’t the end of the world. Its just uncomfortable as I push thru it 😭

Oh trust I know that none of this is that big of a deal. It’s my own thing I gotta deal with so that’s why I’d never ask my roommates to change their habits for me 😭

That’s good! Because tbh I think those things are all crazy and obviously you’ll be fine, but that’s the right attitude to have
