Do y’all think pets can be bad or is it on the owner for the way the pet acts?

There are definitely breed traits in animals which is not bad they just have a purpose. It’s the owners fault for 1 not getting an animal that fits there situation and capability and 2 not training the animal for any of the pets personally traits

There’s always such things as bad behaviors. I don’t think behaviors are what we should base their value or right to live off of

I think it can be both. Because my cat will randomly get mean. But since ive had here it’s calmed down a bunch. But at the end of the day its still a cat

It’s a combination, but don’t be quick to blame the owner. My dog was trained, but after this last semester steals food from people because my roommate would keep giving him and her dog food that she decided she didn’t wanna finish eating. Also made him sick a lot so now I have to be super careful anytime I eat near him

It’s a combination of nature and nurture

But what if the pet still acts bad after proper training?

I mean there are just some things you have to accept. I have a dog with food aggression I have tried training it out but nothing works. So I as the owner take responsibility and keep meals at consistent times, if there are other dogs or kids at a party with food around she does not go. And a couple other precautions I take. I also understand that my state has a no bite law and if she does bite someone she is died. Having a pet is not always easy but there are a lot of reasons why it is worth it.
