One of my roommates never brings her key to the apartment when she goes on a run, so she always makes one of us go open the door for her every day

tell her you understand the concern of it falling from her pocket, but it’s her responsibility to put it and secure it somewhere where she won’t lose it. you need to be able to let yourself in bc your roommates aren’t always gonna be home, if smth happens, and because ITS NOT YOUR ROOMMATES JOB TO STOP WHAT THEIR DOING TO LET YOU IN. YOU HAVE A KEY FOR A REASON. if she can’t secure a key to get back in she shouldn’t be leaving. that is NOT your job. NEVER do it again

She said it’s because she “doesn’t want the key falling out of her pocket”. So I might just ask if she ever considered getting one of those armband things. But thats definitely a good point
