Same. And eventually my roommate realized it and would invite me out with her where she would have other friends and I’d slowly make more friends and feel more comfortable (I was a transfer she’d been there for a while) And I still spend a lot of time in my room. But it’s because I’m doing homework all the time. And she and I talked about it. So I know if she wants the room to herself I’ll go somewhere else for a bit. Communication is really helpful.
yeah my freshman roommate was so gross. literally once a week and there’s NO WAY you’re cleaning everything in 5 minutes after a week of not showering wed already signed an apartment least together but i only lasted 3 months before i sublet and left that hoe literally dishes piled up to the counter i stoped using plates and got paper plates and only used like once cup bc shes use all the dishes then never wash them
once she left a sink full of dishes then left town for a few days, it started smelling so bad in the kitchen because she left a sponge at the bottom that the mass of disgusting dishes that had soaked up food and dirty water, and i couldn’t figure out why the apartment smelled so bad till i found it and threw it out and it the smell didn’t leave until i took the trash out
