Say something definitely like really it’s not always necessarily obvious. They could totes be showering but if it’s something with their diet, maybe the way their body interacts with a perfume or anything else, or maybe certain hygiene things. Obviously approach it with some tact though and don’t immediately judge em.

Burn candles and complain about the smell thinking maybe it’s the carpet and maybe they’ll get a hint

If they’ve just come back from somewhere say “Oh was it hot outside?” And then nicely tell them they smell a sweaty and should go shower
