It’s ramen. Ra-fucking-men. You have 3 choices: subject your mouth to lava from the pits of hell, accept that it will be ice cold & rock hard, or do some slurping. It’s unavoidable. And if you are like, “she can eat something else”: maybe she can’t. A lot of college students are broke as fuck, and can barely afford ramen, much less anything else.
They might not try to, but I mean at least for me, if it was 1am, I’d try to be as quiet as possible. That could include cutting the nooses, using a fork. When I realize I’m being loud I try to fix it. Expecally if someone is trying to sleep or studying. You are able to fix it and be a quiet eater. I mean if you try to be quiet and slurp sometimes that’s fine it’s understandable but it’s truly not hard to be quiet while doing it
Ik im not OP but for me my school only allows singles if you have an accommodation and either way rn theres no singles available due to a dorm being under construction. Im also not an only child and truly it’s not hard to be quiet while eating. I mean if it’s a few times that’s fine, but if it’s legit every time you take a bite that would PMO because you can eat noodles quietly yk
No I get if they’re obnoxiously loud but some people are menstruating and need to eat due to hormonal changes, medications, etc or they’re just hungry and studying. It’s a shared space and just like you want them to respect your needs and preferences you should respect theirs. I think if you have an issue then respectfully speak up
No I completely understand eating and everything like shit that’s completely normal, it’s more of the issue of being loud. And truly alot of people aren’t able to speak up. Like I personally can’t and when I do it only makes things worse (that’s why I constantly rant on here and am now moving)
