Is she in those spaces or use things in those areas? Some people think that because they aren't in those spaces they don't have to do anything which I can see reason with

She is definitely contributing to the communal messes. I will be trying to pick up her dishes in the living room and shes just sitting on the couch on her phone like girl get up and help

Thats when I would straight up tell her that this is a communal space and not her bedroom so she should respect that and not have to constantly be told to clean her messes. I'd even make it into a text so she can't act like this conversation wasn't had
