I was struggling due to a family emergency. I had told them I was dealing with it and that I struggling mentally and asked if we could do things together. They completely ignored me, cut me off, and never invited to do things with them and when I asked to do something with them they always said no

And how were you when you around them? If you were dragging everything down A. No one wants to be around that and B. Makes no sense for you to be out with them bc you’re still allowing yourself to be trapped in the depression.

I wasnt all sad and down around them. Being around friends usually helps me and lifts my mood.

Lowkey #2 is getting downvoted but they have a point. You should never expect someone else to constantly share a burden of your mental issues. Generally we should be aware and open to others mental state, but never responsible.

Not saying that is the case here- if you asked them to hang out and they ignored you, don’t blame that on your mental issues respectfully.
