yea you really only have to be as close with your roommate as you wanna be. Me and my roommate get along great but i’m so much busier so im never in the room. I bet she loves that lol

I had a horrendously relationship with my roommate last year but I really love my current roomie!! We’re not the closest but we get along great and I genuinely like spending time with her.

me and my roommate were friends in high school and went all freshman year with no problems! my only peeve was that she was in the dorm pretty much 24/7 studying, but ik she was working hard so despite it being annoying that i'd barely get alone time, i never told her that (it would be unnecessary) and our communication on everything else was just fine. still close friends to this day!
