I complimented my roommate the other day because she was dressed up nice and she gave me a weird look and just said thanks, like girl I’m trying to make conversation

Literally same. I’ve been trying since move in, like girl we are living 6 feet apart. Give me SOMETHING back in conversation?? I’ve given up atp. She’s weird.
