Because everyone is selfish and doesn’t think of others. No one is considerate anymore. No one says bless you. No one holds doors open. Southern hospitality is slowly going away with northerners moving here.

Well actually values are not about where your from but who I’m from the north but you could say I have “southern values”.

It’s just a generalization. People in the south are much nicer than in the north. And there are nice northerners and rude southerners. It definitely comes from home though.
