I’d take initiative to know your roommate’s friends by name, maybe they could become your friends also. Perhaps when they are in the room, stop what you are doing and communicate with them. A part of it is also on you for being introverted. But if you really don’t want them in the room, politely (and firmly) tell your roommate that they are not invited.
