it's hard when they're stubborn and when you bring something up, they get defensive about it and all of a sudden i'm the 'crazy one'. can't help the people who don't want to change.

It’s scary ass hell living with someone who already gives no shits about you, communication is an attack to them because they feel entitled to a space you share. One wrong move and you are no longer safe in your own home.

Told my roommate I’d appreciate it if she wiped the microwave dish bc her food juice is always on it and now she slams doors from 2-6 am, throws coins around at 4 am, and leaves her lamps on overnight after I turn the main light off 🧚‍♀️

It’s also depends how they communicate. I used to have rm meetings with my old rms. My new rm got mad bc I scheduled a meeting with her and she didn’t like planned things that made her dread talking. She rather I tell her upfront when something’s wrong. That’s not rlly how I like to do things bc then I feel like I’m mothering ppl but I just deal w it
