i knew a girl who got a puppy with no prior knowledge of how to take care of one and her dumbass thought oh he’s peeing inside to much let me just take away his water supply and leave him outside… i reported her ass to the shelter she got him from so fast she was also starving him and feeding him less than my fucking cat would eat in a day idk y people think it’s ok to just get for the aesthetic and not gaf abt the responsibility of another life

Sounds like animal neglect. Document and report to your ra or rd.

Train. Your. Fukin. Dogs. It’s not that hard, I did it. So can you. If you can’t, DONT GET ONE. if it’s destructive and actually not being cared for properly report her. Screw that.

You can (and should) report this to housing. If it’s a dorm than your RHD, an apartment then your landlord/property manager.

i have an esa and brought her up when she was under a year, but she was potty trained and i made sure my roommates were okay with a dog. No matter your age if you cannot train a dog or be around enough to let the dog out to the bathroom YOU SHOULDNT HAVE A DOG i’m sorry you have that experience and actually one of my roommates for a year also had a dog who would piss and shit everywhere and she was like 4 it blew my mind how my PUPPY was potty trained but her adult dog wasn’t

And if this is an apartment make sure the leasing office knows that it’s her dog and thus her damages to pay

Bc fun fact, ESA’s can be removed from facilities when there is evidence of damages, and many states have animal welfare laws and services that will remove the animal from their owners care in cases of neglect (like failing to house train)
