Like it’s really awesome knowing that I can do these things and I have hobbies if I need something to do, but I just get so bored because they end up getting too easy and I don’t know if that’s a normal thing, I’m just trying to find people who also have this happen I’m posting it in a few places
In theory these should be things that stay hard as you continuously up your skills, but if you’re only entertained until you get the basics down, no use fighting your brain. Stuff like language learning, book binding, and cooking can all be divided into distinct skill sets (e.g. baking, grilling, pastry), and projects you could work on individually so you get the reward of finishing something and it takes a little longer before separate parts get too easy to keep you engaged.
Work on engines perhaps. Or get into 3D printing. Something with a bit more form, pre-planning, or just more moving parts to keep you engaged. Or if you haven’t done metal/stone sculpture in those various arts, try that because oh boy, stone and metals are impressive mediums to master.
