I would CLEAN that mf, wash separate if able and add peroxide. I’m sorry but not wearing shower shoes is nasty asf anyway, let alone using someone else’s towel with no permission whatsoever.

I completely understand, there’s a lot of fungus on the floors that grow & develop stronger due to moisture, heat, and bacteria (it’s still there even if we don’t visibly see it). It’s very hard to get out of clothes usually peroxide will kill most but not all. They literally sell bath mats and shoes at the dollar store
