Nah fr bc why am I here with my girl (who rarely stays even one night) and we realize HALFWAY THROUGH THE NIGHT that my roommate’s girl was just in his room ALONE while we were in the living room at night?! DOES SHE NOT HAVE ANOTHER PLACE TO STAY?!

My bf’s entire apartment is super chill with me but I still refuse to be there without him or be there for longer than a weekend bc I was raised right

Report it as a guest policy violation. The gf is a grown adult she can go places without supervision; there’s no need for her to be treating your apartment like a waiting room.

Talking shit about someone for doing the same thing you're doing! Nice.

No, it’s a matter of not having a guest in the house all day without you yourself being there (and also eating fast food on MY couch and leaving trash everywhere!)

1. Does she have roommates? (If no, NAH) 2. Were they consulted? (If no, YTA) 3. It’s a different situation since most of us live on the same campus or near it

She has 3 roommates we're friends they don't care I can assure you 😂 I'm just surprised so many people on here complain about it I don't see the big deal if everyone has their own room you're never gonna see each other anyways.

I could understand in a dorm but in an apartment with separate rooms it's no big deal and technically nothing you could do about it like its not in violation of the lease or anything so 🤷‍♂️

Some leases (mine included) have a policy about needing to accompany your guest while on property. It sounds like yall are in a different situation so it’s chill but I’m not friends with my roommates and I’m not fond of someone’s bf randomly coming out to see me in my underwear making a grilled cheese when I thought I was alone

I’m on good terms with my boyfriend’s roommates and they all like me but I don’t want to be by myself there bc it feels weird and it’s not my place to intrude

well it's kind of weird to be in the common space of a shared apartment in your underwear... either way you won't find me in the kitchen 😂 to each their own but id recommend behaving as if you have privacy in the privacy of your room, a shared space typically does not have privacy.

i mean i've known my girlfriend and her roommate for a longgggggg time so that's why it bothers nobody but so long as you stayed in his room i think it's pretty typical behavior (depending on why/ how long he'd be gone, if it's for a whole day or you're staying the night there alone that's weird)

Yeah, I really don’t need some strange man to “recommend” ways on how I conduct myself in the apartment I pay for and live in. Get bent weirdo

Oh dw i'd never tell you what to do just trying to help you understand that if it's a SHARED space there is no privacy even if it's a shared apartment. basic logic, so wear whatever you want whenever you want sure but don't be surprised when someone else walks into the shared space
