That’s fine if it’s your space but leaving food, spills, oil splatters, grime in general hardens making it difficult to clean later and invites bugs (I’m in the south so no thank you). People that care too much about what you do in your space are definitely exhausting. “Neat freaks” at least by my definition are not.

Literally the kitchen should be clean and clear for the next person. Like who do they think is gonna clean it up for them if they keep making messes then walking away.
