the first time an older lady said this to me i was in middle school and i said “thank you!” with a big grin on my face🤦‍♀️my mom had to explain it to me when i got home. being dumb in the south ain’t for the weak i tell ya

I’m not southern but I know the meaning. But it reminds me of this one time, I live in Vermont, that I was at the grocery store and this lady was arguing with a cashier and she goes “bless your heart, and I mean that in the MOST SOUTHERN WAY POSSIBLE”
