I’d say report them because technically they’re not supposed to be doing them to begin with and if you have and there response is to move you I’d say move because what they’re doing could be pinned on you as well because of well the smell

Mentally unstable how? What kind of substance abuse?

Bipolar, depression, and adhd that aren’t being effectively treated and multiple attempts in the room in the past. And currently it’s having and using weed in the room (which I’ve said in the past that I don’t want in the dorm), but it’s also included alcohol and inhalants before, which I worry they could start using again

I explained things to housing, so they’re aware, and with a past incident separate from me, the dean of students was also involved. Nothing’s really been done. My only concerns with moving now I guess are just not being able to adjust well with finals being so close, and starting things with my new roommate off on a bad foot (moving in outside of the room change period and close to finals)

Yeah. I’d say if you can move dorms next semester if they allow it. But most definitely document that way anything they damage and stash doesn’t come on you and you have to pay for anything because if she’s doing weed that room will have to be fumigated most likely and if they start hiding stuff on your side definitely report and get out of there
