We were friends before becoming roommates, there were disagreements between us and I took the blame for them from our other roommates for some stuff (not doing dishes, using other stuff, not keeping the common room clean) and the other roommates had enough of what they were doing but thought it was me. Instead of standing up for me, they sided with the other roommates and told me to leave or they’ll make life hell for me. So I left and I learnt they still made life hell by saying I was +

Abusive on top of it and gaslighting them to our mutual friends so the whole group shunned me out. Then junior year I think that entire group broke apart cuz they got tired of the ex roommate bringing drama and another friend sexually harassing people in a club they were president for and I heard stories of how that roommate was a nightmare of a person and just got worse during the years.
