I swept all of the trash and junk from my roommate to her side, and then wrote her full name on sticky notes and placed them around the damaged side of her room. I also left a letter on my desk, stating that I had spent hours cleaning my room and would not be billed for another persons mess

It gets worse. First I had to email back and ask for confirmation that they received the email and then they emailed back about a completely different issue I had previously, telling me to wait so I had to tell them to go back and actually read what I had sent. They’re ignoring me and not reading emails which pmo bc I’m not being obnoxious in any way

My now fiance and I deadass mopped a line right down the middle and only did my side. This girl was HORRIBLE. She only bathed once every two weeks. So much shit happened. But I was not about to let her do an Irish goodbye and then make me clean up her mess. I even called housing and demanded to speak with the head. After many hours and refusing to do so. I did get ahold of them and explained. Imo, you don’t make the mess. You don’t clean it up when it comes to roommates

I kept emailing them and they just straight up ignore me and I’m not paying whatever fee they assess. She even left food, dirty dishes and her coffee maker and I’m sure as hell not being charged for that

Oh no, she treats all her stuff like shit. I’ve got an expensive one that she tried to use once and have had to hide it in my room ever since. This girl is disgusting and always sick bc she never cleans

Sounds like my old roommate tbh. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Hopefully they won’t charge you. But definitely try and appeal it if they do
