“she pays her half of the rent she can stay” hi! i’m a homebody and i love being home! but i also have self awareness and know that other people need their alone time just like me, so i joined a club and i go out for lunch or dinner to give my roommate some alone time too!

Home bodies for me are a red flag imo. Even if they are equally entitled to the rent I would say it’s justified to rant and express emotions about it like on Yikyak cause it genuinely is just someone getting done dirty with a Roomate. If u at home all day then that’s not just a couch potato like that’s a problem ❌

Why does she have to leave? What if she’s a home body and enjoys being in the comfort of her space

No fr me and my old roomate had this rule before she became crazy. Worked both ways and we were both very happy.

You are selfish. She pays her half of the rent that means she’s entitled to just as much time as you are there. Also she could have agoraphobia

It’s not selfish to want alone time it’s selfish to never consider that your other roommate might want some time to themselves

No it’s not if she pays it’s her right to be there as long as she wants whenever she wants unless op wants to start paying her half of the rent

Long story short she is bipolar and has really bad anger issues because of family trauma. And will not get medication or go to therapy for it. We were great off at first and then she just go worse as time when on. I tried my hardest to be there for her and try to have her go talk to a counselor to help mange her feel and she went to two sessions and then quit. Pt.1

Then her mood swings got worse and she started to make false accusations against me for things that never happened and other things. I just couldn’t live with her anymore because of how I was being treated and how she was ruining my self esteem and how people looked at me as a person. So I moved out.

As somebody with bipolar, I’m so sorry. She should not have acted in that way, and she 100% could have helped it. It’s not totally involuntary you just have to be self aware

No way in hell 😭 I can’t stand either of them. They’re both terrible people who thought the world revolved around them. We actually had to make a schedule on what days he was allowed to sleep in the room because she just “couldn’t sleep without him” yet she had met him like the day before she decided that

This is the same mentality as a neighbor calling the cops on a child’s lemonade stand because they need a permit
