I’m willing to bet money that his coke addiction has put OP in danger more than once, if only by having the stuff in the house in first place. I get not wanting to ruin someone’s life (which it can be argued the guy already has) but at some point OP has to put his safety first.

Look, I get where you’re coming from, but Coke is known to make people paranoid, aggressive, and sometimes violent. Sure we don’t know if he’s experiencing those symptoms, but to me that’s not a risk most are willing to take. I also approach posts on here with the assumption that communication has been tried and failed unless otherwise specified. It’s not specified if OP has spoken to roommate yet, but I’m assuming he has and based on that I’m saying the next step is police intervention.

Again, I really get where you’re coming from, but unfortunately not everyone is looking for help, or at least not ready for it, and that shouldn’t mean OP has to deal with that.

Doing coke for “productivity” (or any time more than a couple of times really) is drug abuse and will ruin your life. You are ruining your life.

I tried in my city and they really don’t gaf. If they arrested every student who drinks and drives and does hard drugs, majority of their top paying students would be gone
