I have loud roommates too. I use ear plugs and I tell Alexa to play rain sounds. I lowk sleep through anything this way. I have high end ear plugs for metal concerts n shit. Not uncomfortable for me. I wore noise cancelling headphones when I lived in dorms and they felt weird to wear. I like my earplugs n rain. It also puts my brain into “oh it’s time for sleep” since it’s a habit I guess
