Tbsffr, sybau. Like im a night person, work at night, get off around midnight, donāt get up until noon usually. My roommate however, works a corpo job that he needs to commute an hour to everyday. So, when Iām going to bed at 5-6am after work and he makes his breakfast at that time, I do not complain. Just the same as he doesnāt complain when I get home and make dinner at 1-3am
Okay I can see this from both sides. Yes itās frustrating because blenders are LOUD, I know. Is this an every morning thing? If so, maybe talk to her and work something out, but ultimately you give up a few things when deciding to live with other people. You have to accept that not everyone works on the same time as you, so if your roommate wants to make a smoothie or something for breakfast, the blender should only be on for around a minute maximum. After that it (hopefully) should be quieter
I work till 12am sometimes and I donāt complain when my roomate wants to get up and have breakfast. Everyone loves a different life. There are far worse things a roomate can be doing than making a smoothie in the morning especially when it isnāt even that early. So yeah they can get over it
Sure no one needs to have a smoothie. No one needs to have any certain meal. Maybe they want it also, itās a good way to get protein. And they probably did prep it. They probably prepped the fruit and other ingredients they probably didnāt make it though cause that doesnāt make sense.
Itās true though. Iām studying psychology currently. Cortisol levels spike in the morning when you wake up, and youāre more likely to be on edge. Itās best to pull your roommate aside and talk later in the day when youāll both be calm and able to communicate effectively. I can literally cite sources if you want
