For context: my roommate is straight and I’m a lesbian. After the election she keeps complaining about Trump (she voted for him) but literally nothing changed in our life except gas price. She says her life is harder but we’re fine. Pissing me off

I didn’t vote Trump but in my own personal life nothing is different so as of rn I don’t care, I also try to avoid political talk and politic social media accounts. The fact she’s all “me me me” when nothing happened is what PMO

while it’s odd that she complains about trump while she voted for him… i think it’s valid to complain about this current administration, even if it doesn’t affect you directly. i mean like medicaid just got taken away from millions, our environment is about to go to shit bcuz of this big beautiful bill, it’s a lot that people SHOULD complain about

No no no, she’s not complaining about general stuff going on or other or anything. She’s saying that she’s suddenly oppressed (she isn’t, she actually now how more of a platform) and how we can’t afford anything (nothing changed in either of our finances and she goes clubbing every other day). Would be fine if it was generalizing and annoyances with the administration but she’s literally just acting and “jumping on the bandwagon” of people who are ACTUALLY struggling
