Need some advice:
So between me and my three roommates, I was the only one that cleaned. Our lease ends soon, and while I’m cleaning to collect my security deposit, it’s discouraging because I’m they’re gonna get 3/4 of my work. Do I email my landlord?
Do your part take photos and videos of evidence, take screenshots asking them to clean if they don’t you have proof through messages that you can send the landlord

I had a similar situation. This is why in the future, I will just say that we need to hire a cleaning company and split it however many ways. If they aren’t going to clean regardless, they can pay for someone else to do it.

I feel that I moved in with 3 roommates who all lived together before me and the day I moved in everything was dirty and stuff was already broken and such and I’m probably gonna have to pay for it 😭

this!!! my rental company TOLD ME to take photos (more so of damage her and her dog caused) and she wouldn’t get her security deposit back when i move out🤭it’s not fair to you for having to do all the work to not get fined for a dirty place moving out
