My roommate did to the point you couldn’t use the sink and even had mold on some dishes….oh yeah! And some were mine!!! Literally couldn’t find my silverware bc she used it!

I had a roommate that wouldn’t wash his clothes. He would throw them in his hamper and when he ran out of clothes he would just dig through the hamper and grab clothes without washing them

i cleaned the sink out, and dishes, and entire kitchen 5-6 times in my year living here(those were the only times it was cleaned btw). right now the sink is filled, and i'm about to move out so i said whatever. It now has a line of mold right above the water line because there is so many dishes and food it's clogging the sink. It's a literal biohazard. i have 3 other roomates btw

Even when my roommate “tried” and put stuff in the dishwasher there would still be food all over the dishes

Me personally I could never , sometimes you leave a dish in there knowing you’ll come back for it obviously that’s normal but people who will leave em for days like wtf how old are we

i recommend getting one of the cheap dish bins from walmart (they’re only a few dollars) that way you can keep it in the sink and when dishes pile up you can just put it on the counter and still have use of the sink

literally was having the same problem with my roommate until we just separated from living together. living alone is a blessing if for nothing else than not having to deal with their dirty dishes

Oh my god girl SAME. My roommate is my best friend but I didn’t know how messy she was before moving in with her. I feel like I can’t communicate how uncomfortable the mess makes me without putting a strain on our friendship
