After first semester of freshman year, I decided that I wasn’t going to be rooming with anyone for the next 3 1/2 years because my roommate genuinely didn’t have any consideration for the other person living in the same room as her. she would blast her alarms at 6 AM and then sleep through all of them so I would wake up have to turn them off and then get her ready for class because she would never wake up, her bf was over everyday, always blasting music or ft early in the morning

Now that I’ve finally moved out, I can sit out more stuff. For 1. She used the hand dryer in the communal bathrooms, which isn’t bad, except she showers at midnight, and the dryers are so loud, like the entire floor can hear it loud, and she dries her hair till it’s dry dry. So it’s like 15 min, at 1 am, of this girl using the hand dryer to dry her hair

our other dorm mates complained abt a smell coming from mine and my roommates bedroom, but only reported me, but i also noticed it, and it was bc my roommate had a full garbage bag of empty alcohol cans in her closet

She also bought a pet fish specifically for college cause she wanted a pet, totally fine, except she’s a horrible pet owner, like she’s almost killed him several times, I take care of him a lot more, like I feel so bad for him because she always forgets to feed him, and his tank is so freaking small, she’s also getting rid of him for next year so rip.

She also has a boyfriend, he comes over sometimes, that’s fine, he sleeps over sometimes, you know what that’s fine too, he changes in our room, like clothes, like I’ve told her I am not comfortable with them doing anything not pg in the room and that I don’t want a naked man in there, he also does not knock when he comes in, it honestly felt like I had a third roommate.

She’s also slightly racist. Which isn’t fine. She makes small comments and I just don’t respond, cause like what tf am I supposed to say to someone I live with and already have trouble tolerating.

We also have are own trashes and omg she never took hers out, like there was a smell, and other things, it was bad, like I refused to take hers out cause that stuff just freaks me out.
